Role Overview
- Softograph is looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Design Intern who is passionate about crafting exceptional digital experiences. This role is ideal for someone who is not just a designer, but an emerging design technologist—someone who understands the balance between human-centered design and the growing power of AI-assisted workflows.
- As our UX/UI Design Intern, you will work at the intersection of design, usability, and innovation. You’ll use Figma as your primary playground while leveraging AI tools to accelerate repetitive tasks, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: solving user problems and creating beautiful, functional interfaces.
Educational Qualification
-
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or
a related field

Candidates from other academic backgrounds with strong Figma skills, UI/UX
understanding, and a solid portfolio are also encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities
-
Build and maintain scalable design systems using Figma Auto Layout, Variables,
Components, and advanced prototyping features

Use AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, Stitch, and other design assistants to generate
content, icons, imagery, and wireframing support

Transform AI-generated concepts into high-fidelity, interactive prototypes within
Figma
-
Explore new Figma plugins and AI integrations to improve workflow efficiency and
reduce production time

Ensure design files are development-ready with clean layers, logical naming
conventions, documented properties, and proper Dev Mode usage

Create placeholder content, synthetic user personas, and rapid mood boards using
AI-assisted workflows

Collaborate closely with developers and internal teams to ensure smooth
design-to-development handoff
Skills & Requirements

Strong proficiency in Figma, especially Auto Layout, Components, Variables, and
Prototyping

Familiarity with Figma Dev Mode and design handoff best practices
-
Experience using AI tools for design support and prompt engineering for visual
asset generation

Strong understanding of UX principles, layout composition, typography, and visual
hierarchy

Ability to iterate quickly and produce multiple design variations efficiently

Attention to detail with strong file organization and documentation habits
-
A strong design sense and the ability to refine AI-generated outputs with human
creativity
